For a more resilient food safety future

It all began in 1995, at Fumoir Grizzly, with the research and development of natural food safety solutions for products from sustainable fisheries. Our team then decided to tackle a major issue in the food industry: the risks associated with contamination and food processing.

Due to the growing interest in this type of research, the Aliotech division was created in 2022 to continue our R&D initiatives. All our products have been analyzed and tested over several years to ensure the very best on the world market. Each bioprotective culture has been developed with meticulous attention to detail to help, prevent and offer a winning solution to food industry companies and consumers alike.

Laura Boivin

Founding President

Passionate about entrepreneurship, Laura left her career as a lawyer to work in the agri-food industry. At the head of Aliotech and Fumoir Grizzly since 2010, she is fully committed to making food processing safer, thanks to a solution developed right here in Québec.

Michelle Tessier

Director of Quality Control and Food Risk Management

With a bachelor's degree in food science and technology, Michelle has been involved in the development and application of Aliotech solutions since the very early days of research. She also contributes her expertise to the scientific committee of Université Laval's METABIOLAC Chair.

Sarah-Myriam Lamontagne

Executive Assistant and Development

Meticulous and organized, Sarah-Myriam supports Laura in business development and international sales. She plays a key role in ensuring a stable and reliable supply chain for Aliotech's business.
